My name is Alison Townsend. I am entering my 10th year with the Mobile County Public School System, six of which I taught departmentalized math. I obtained my Masters in Elementary Mathematics K-6 in 2022 and served as a member of the AMSTI Coaching Leadership Academy. I am excited to join the Hutchens family as a math coach. My desire is to empower teachers through coaching, modeling, and supporting them in the effective use of mathematical strategies so students are successful in numeracy development. I got married in April to my handsome husband, Deandre, who also works for MCPSS in the IT department. I love fitness, family, and all things adventure!
